
Recipe: Get a cheap pineapple from the Spar. Get a friend to peel it. Slice it into thick rings. Remove core. Place each ring in foil. Spoon in dark soft brown sugar. Add a generous slug of your favourite spirit. Raisins optional. Seal and allow to marinate for 30 minutes. Place on barbecue for approx 5 minutes. Open carefully and serve with cream or ice cream.
